What our customers are saying

“Nature does not ask our permission, she has nothing to do with our wishes. Whether we like her laws or dislike them,

we are bound to accept her as she is.”

Living in synchrony with the sun - the rhythms of nature

Living in Tune with Nature

One of the most effective things we can do, to establish more of a sense of peace in our life, is to have a daily routine that is aligned with the rhythms of nature.

Why? We live in a natural world, and are an integral part of nature. When we are disconnected from this, we may experience all kinds of different imbalances, that take us away from an experience of peace.

A sense of peace, is our natural state of being, when we are in balance with nature. We can stabilize this natural state, in our body and mind, by choosing a daily routine, that maintains this, rather than disrupts it.

Nature is always in harmony and peace, and if we pay attention and follow along with the natural rhythms, then we too, can experience a sense of inner harmony and peace. So our daily routine is really a "Routine for Peace".

An ancient system of holistic health, called Ayurveda, has been refining a daily routine that's aligned with nature, for thousands of years. It's found that there are specific things you can do to follow along with the natural laws of the day.

The main suggestion from Ayurveda, is to live in tune with the movement of the sun in the sky. As the sun rises, moves overhead, then sets, it creates distinct energies at different times of the day. When we become aware of the timing of the different energies, then we can align our activities with them, to experience effortless support of nature during our day. We like to call this - SUNchronize - synchronizing with the sun.

For example, rising early with the sun, enlivens our body/mind system, to be more clear and energetic for the day. Then meditating first thing, when the air is infused with silence, allows us to instill this in our whole body and being.

Also, eating the biggest meal of the day at noon, when the sun is highest in the sky and the hottest, we can digest our food much more efficiently. And going to bed early, preferably before 10:00pm, helps us to sleep deeper and process the events of the day more efficiently, so that we can feel more rested and peaceful for the next day.

By living a daily routine that is aligned with these powerful laws of nature,  we can more effectively stabilize a sense of peace in our body and mind, allowing us to experience, in a practical and real way, more calm and clarity in our daily lives.
