“Tools for Peace” – ego is wreaking havoc- doesn’t want us to have peace – lies to us – insidious – creates ways for us to want to battle – rather than accept and feel peaceful

- Take a breath and then consciously respond, rather than unconsciously react

- You don’t have to be right, you just have to be love/peace

- Others’ behaviors are just a request for love – see past the surface and offer love and kindness, no matter how it appears

- Seeing an injustice can make us feel outraged – if we know that everything is unfolding as it should – then we can respond by not judging and by helping in any way we can – if we also become angry – we are adding to the problem, not the solution – don’t be fooled into reacting with rage, instead step back and respond with understanding, harmony and clarity of solutions

"I Choose Peace" Process

We have a choice at every moment, of choosing the feeling of peace, over the feeling of fear. We can retrain an automatic reaction (from the ego) to become a calm response, from a place of peace.

When faced with a challenging situation - before we react and go into a battle of the egos -

  • Stop
  • Take a deep breath in
  • As you let your breath out, say, "Peace" silently and slowly to yourself
  • Bring to mind anything that feels peaceful to you, and helps you to feel safe, calm, and clear - a deep meditation, time in nature, looking at the ocean, whatever works for you
  • If you can, excuse yourself & step away from the situation for a moment
  • Take a moment to look at the situation from a place of detached calm
  • View it from a place of no blame, criticism, judgment, or emotion, as if you are watching it on a movie screen
  • Breathing deeply in and out again, say to yourself, "I choose peace - over being - right, in control, superior, being the winner", etc
  • Allow a higher solution to come to you, that is best for everyone in that circumstance
  • Then, when you feel in a state of calm and clarity, consciously respond to the situation (rather than unconsciously react)

- Stop and take a moment

- Take a deep breath in, and as you let it out slowly

- Say, “Peace” to yourself – allowing the feeling of an ocean of peace within

- If you have a peace stone in your pocket or purse – hold it in your hand and let it remind you of the safety and calm feelings of peace that you know is always there

- Take another breath in and allow your body to relax, as you say

- “Deep Peace” – allowing an even deeper sense of peace to flow through you

- Then if you have time, take a third breath in and say, “I Choose Peace”- step back from the situation in your mind - step back from the situation in your mind – remembering that I want peace more than I want my ego to go to battle

- Now, from a place of calm and clarity, look at the situation again

- You can now respond, rather than react, with a solution that comes from a deeper source – a place of eternal silence and creativity out of the ego’s view – into Peace’s view

- You may be surprised that a solution comes to you that moves the circumstance in the direction of balance and peace for all

- Short version – Three Breathes to Peace – change your state of being

- Stop and take a moment

- Breath one – breath in and out slowly

- Saying “Peace” to yourself – feeling the ocean of peace within

- Hold a Peace Stone, if you have one – feeling the safety and calm of peace

- Breath two – saying “Deep Peace” – relax body - deeper sense of peace

- Breath three – saying “I Choose Peace” – I want to feel peace more than I want to feel pain - want to feel the eternal powerful presence of peace, more than I want to feel the pain of the primitive ego battle reaction

- Respond from Peace’s viewpoint – calm and clarity - with the objective of creating a peaceful solution for all

I Choose Peace Method – stop, take a breath, think quietly but clearly to yourself - “I choose Peace”, feel the stone in your pocket/ purse, step back in your mind from the situation, feel the choice of engaging in the drama and ups and downs, then feel the choice of peace – Rather than shutting down into fear and defense - Keep yourself open, know that you are protected by keep peace flowing through your heart, then feel forgiveness,

Emotional Freedom Technique - EFT - Tapping

E.F.T. is a form of emotional acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture, but without needles.

Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest, while you think about your specific emotional issue or limiting belief.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and feeling the blocked emotions, works to clear the "short-circuit" from your body's bio-energy system, and restore balance to your mind and body.

E.F.T. works deeply and efficiently, to help "clear out" long embedded emotional issues and limiting beliefs, that may be sabotaging your life.

Ho'opono pono

This is a simple and yet surprisingly effective forgiveness technique, that originated in Hawaii.

It is a method of offering forgiveness to others, which often has a surprisingly healing effect, allowing us to let go of the past, freeing us up so that we can progress and evolve to a new level.

Prayer

Ask for help from the invisible forces beyond our small self. Whatever your belief system - God, angels, the universe, the creator, Life force.

When you tune in to the force beyond our self, we connect to something higher and
